Poverty and hunger is a challenge in today's time due to shrinking agricultural lands, migration, meagre returns despite large scale investment and focus by government, corporate and international agencies for a long time. In India, still the majority of the population lives in villages and are dependent upon agriculture, forest and allied activities for their livelihoods. Due to industrialization and climate change, the rural and the agriculture dynamics has changed and new problems have taken its place. It needs to be resolved with novel and innovative inputs into the rural India to survive and improve their livelihoods. Improved methods in agriculture and allied activities such as livestock and horticulture management are required to increase production and income of farmers. We support such projects in planning, implementation, capacity building, monitoring, evaluation and advocate good practices in the sector for improved livelihoods.
