A lack of considerations to gender by policy makers and practitioners risks under achievement of environmental targets and leads to adverse impacts for women. Carefully drafted gender-responsive policies and interventions could help transform unequal gender relations in societies. Policies and programs need to be grounded in a more nuanced understanding of gender relations and gender roles for sustainable socio-ecological outcomes. We support gender-sensitive projects and believe in the equal participation of women in development. Therefore, we design programs, conduct research and studies which are gender sensitive in nature.
